Builders Drapes and Blinds have been manufacturing for over 20 years heavy duty commercial mini blinds for homeowners in several colors to meet any décor. Our 1 ½” steel head rail is the strongest in the industry with our beautiful steel sculptured bottom rail. The large head rail allows for larger working parts so the blind can work easily for a life time of use compared to the cheaper 1” head rail which has to work harder therefore, failure is more likely with the wands breaking and the blinds not being able to stay up in a locked position. Since we are the manufacturer, our quality control ensures your getting the tightest closure in the industry since our slats have a fantastic crown. Our slats are virgin aluminum to allow for maximum flexibility.

Our slat material, made of an aerospace alloy, is strong, flexible and durable, with the most uniform crown in the industry. The manufacturing process which yields superior slat material requires a delicate balance of alloy, gauge, and uniform crown height. The wrong mixture results in slats that are too hard or too soft. Our slat material provides this unique balance required for superior strength, flexibility, and durability. In addition, this lighter weight material reduces wear on the head rail components.
Builders Drapes and Blinds produce the best performing, most innovative components in the industry. Our cord lock is the finest available. Made of high-impact nylon, it provides smoother, easier operation and prevents the lift cord from fraying. All head rail components are flush fit to the bottom of the head rail for a finished look. 2" Aluminum Mini Blinds
Our 2" Alumuninum Mini Blinds feature a heavy-duty line of stamped metal and injection molded plastic components. Providing for maximum strength and resistance to corrosion, and 8 gauge slats are manufactured of 5086-H19 aluminum alloy. When formed during production, this alloy increases stability, creating a spring reaction that resists dents or bends in the aluminum slats. All aluminum slats have a signature pre-coating, which acts as an anti-static dust repellent. To ensure product reliability, all aluminum blind headrails and bottomrails are of phosphate treated steel, finished with a vinyl primer and a top layer of polyester baked coating. Additionally, all internal hardware and components are manufactured of heavy-duty acetal low-friction thermoplastics that are mechanically locked into the headrail channel by means of snap-in fittings.
There are several colors to choose from to match any décor and the controls can be standard or if needed, you can locate the controls on the left side or the right side if required. We can also do multiple blinds on one headrail for larger openings. The blinds come with a limited lifetime warranty so you can be sure that they will stand the test of time.
